NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING
ON AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE
Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended (the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act), notice is hereby given that the Williamstown Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 for the purpose of considering amendments to the Township Zoning Ordinance. The public hearing will be held at the Williamstown Township Hall, 4990 Zimmer Road, Williamston, Michigan 48895.
The public hearing will be held to consider Zoning Ordinance amendments initiated by the Township to revise provisions dealing with agricultural uses. The amendments are being considered so that the Township Ordinances comply with State of Michigan requirements regarding agricultural practices and the Right to Farm Act.
Copies of the proposed ordinance amendments are available for review at the Township Hall during regular business hours.
All interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments. Written comments concerning the proposal may be submitted to the township hall at the address cited above.
